Who are Ceramix?
Ceramix Ltd was formed in 2006 and is a small company combining many years of experience and knowledge of the construction industry providing cost effective, time saving and innovation to polished concrete flooring.
What experience can Ceramix offer?
The four directors have a varied, long standing and a broad experience within the construction industry and over the past three years have developed and tested this product in conjunction with the world renowned Sika Ltd.
The directors and their experience are:-
Phillip Hill
With over 40 years experience of the construction industry from a professional consulting background, being Chief Executive of a multidisciplinary consulting and materials testing business Phillip also developed a broad knowledge of the recycling industry and has been instrumental in setting up businesses with a proactive sustainable agenda based on R&D links with Universities, commercialising intellectual property.
Felix Hughes
Has a background in the recycling and construction related industries, developer and holder of the intellectual property relating to the products offered by Ceramix.
John Low FCIOB
Has over forty years experience in the construction and house building industry and was a director of Trafalgar House Property and Chief Executive of both Ideal Homes and the Beazer Group.
Derek Speller
Derek is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has been in Practice for 38 years and has experience of several industries. He is a director of several companies in various industries.
What is the secret to success of the product?
The base materials blended on our behalf by Sika Ltd contains a formula of binders based on carefully size selected aggregates, binders and pozzolans that are have been combined with suitable performance admixtures to allow for the correct performance of the products.
Who are our customers?
The product has a variety of applications in commercial, industrial and house building construction and should attract interest from architects, developers, structural engineers and specialist floor laying contractors.
